The background

Better together....

In 2014 I kicked off a Salesforce practice on my own.

 

There was so much I did not know.  There were lots of mistakes I made that slowed us down and cost us revenue and profit.

 

Over time I met a group of like minded people on the same journey and we started exchanging stories and learning from each other.

 

My initial thought was that these people were my competition.  I wanted to keep things to myself.    However, over time I realised there is space for all of us and that a spirit of co-opetition made more sense.  Together we all ended up stronger.

 

Ultimately the practice I started grew to over 100 people after 8 years and it was acquired.

 

The Partner Foundry is designed to help facilitate that same kind of experience but also fill in some of the gaps:  

  • Benchmarking is a key element that most of us would benefit from but there has not been an easy way to achieve this.   

  • Tech companies do a great job of bringing us together around their agenda but often the agenda Partners have can have different elements.

  • There is plenty of technical support and enablement but not always the support to run and grow a business.

  • There are gaps in training including leadership, consulting, sales and other soft skills.

Ultimately it is about bringing together groups of like minded founders who are on the same journey to enable everyone to thrive.
